Details of the Recommendation: "I had the wonderful opportunity to work with photographer Daymion Mardel on the cover and feature story for the 2009 Smart Luxury Awards issue of SHERMAN'S TRAVEL magazine - one of the most important issues we produce each year. Our concept for the 2009 issue was particularly complex in execution, and demanded a photographer who could strongly translate his own artistic vision into a fairly set art direction - and confidently communicate changes to the direction as he saw fit. The project also required expertise with lighting and composition, as well as the ability to inspire and direct a creative team - all to make our concept come to life. Daymion met all challenges and succeeded in creating stunning images, that for me, rank as one of the professional highlights of my career.
